Job Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, cash flow management, and bank reconciliations.
- Producing timely and reliable monthly financial reports including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, & Cash Flow report.
- Prepare Journals, Reconciliation Reports, Accounting Analysis report to ensure completeness and accuracy of transactions.
- Monitor forecasting accuracy, develop measurable indicators, highlight trends, and analyze causes of unexpected variances.
- Maintain company fixed assets ledger and record monthly depreciation entries if any.
- Contribute to tax and statutory compliance effort (such as withholding tax, service tax, corporate tax matters) and support internal & external audit.
- Collaborating with other departments and business units to understand their financial needs and provide support.
- Understand the functionality, interfaces, and interdependencies of the financial processes and systems; ensure the existence of adequate internal controls.
- Backup senior finance executive for operational matters when it is required.
- Assist in other ad hoc finance & accounting related duties as assigned by the manager.
Essential Experience, Skills and Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, accounting or similar. & at least 2 – 3 years of accounting experience.
- Candidates with professional qualifications such as ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MIA will be added advantage.
- Problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to work through issues with moderate complexity and guide others in the resolution of problems.
- Able to work independently and in a teamwork environment with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel/Power Point) or related software.
- Willingness to travel over state
